Print from file inside IBM Access 6.1 with Windows 7

I'm trying to solve a 6+ month check printing issue and I'm so close to doing so, but I've run into a snag:

I have a user with a Windows 7 system, and she uses IBM Access to print checks. The print to file dialog box comes up on a Windows XP machine just fine when she releases a file to be printed. Both machines have the same configuration for everything - the only difference that I can tell is that the XP machine she's borrowing to print checks uses 5.3 of the IBM Access program, and she is using 6.1.

Beyond that, there is no difference in configuration. I can confirm that the print settings are correct - it's using the right PDT file and everything.

When she tries to release a file to print a check, what is suppose to happen is the print to file dialog box comes up, she inputs the path where she wants the text file to be saved/printed, and off it goes and prints. But for some reason on Windows 7 inside the IBM program, the dialog box just doesn't come up at all. It will come up if I do something like print a test page on the printer itself, or if I create a Word document and do a print test. That all works fine. It's just in this particular program that it doesn't not want to come up.

She's an administrator on her machine, UAC is disabled, and all permissions to everything is set up correctly. I've even tried running it under compatibility mode with XP and made sure that "run as Administrator" is checked.

Has anyone run into this issue as well, and if so, what did you do to solve it?

Thanks!
