I am having upgrade issues with my IBM 3650 M3 servers. They are Model 7945-AC1 units.
Trying to my first "in place" upgrade from Win 2008 R2 to Win 2012 R2. Have latest EFI Bios and firmware and drivers installed from IBM update service pack 9.61.
When upgrading via burnt DVD iso, the Windows Setup program fails on the installing additional features portion which is supposed to start after the first reboot.
Comes back with error message 0xC0000005 saying resources not present. Make sure machine is compatible ????
Any ideas where to look? One thing I noticed that the dvd drive isn't accessed after that first EFI reboot. Getsame error message when trying via software mounted iso image.
