we have an Iseries or AS400 that sends emails CSV files to different users.
the as400 programmers have been asked to run macros on these CSV files that extracts charts, or runs macros, etc.
is there any way to accomplish this without someone having to open the email, then open the attachment.
we have so very many reports being emailed, if we cannot come up with a better way, it will mean long weekends for everyone.
the programmers only know how to email CSV files from the AS400, and I know how to run macros on the CSV file once it is opened, but what we are missing is how to automate it, or remove human interaction.
any ideas, suggestions, prayers sent our way would be appreciated.
