I'm trying to source or build a 'dumb' terminal to interface with an IBM iSeries system over Ethernet. The problem is that IBM doesn't seem to make them anymore, with the 8364 having been discontinued for 22 years. Is there an OEM still producing compatible terminals? Or can one be built using commodity x86 hardware?
(Emulation is also an option, but it's not nearly as cool.)
